The Architect in You

Design is everywhere, without you possibly knowing.

But when you know it, it falls into;

1. mind blowing (the goal)
2. adequate (on budget, not registered)
3. poop (could be the goal, can be on budget, but not worth even this sentence)

I found this brickwork pattern absolutely in the no.1 category in a main street in Holt, Norfolk. (Flemish? Stretchers? ???)
Oddly we've never been before, not even to Norfolk, but found it to be a complete jewel of a place with incredible sky and light.... and architecture.
I've not found anything of note online about this house which seems odd considering the adapted style.
The most incredible design of a door entrance, probably missing it's fanlight. Plus a bricked up centre window?

Close up of the non symmetrical hand shaped brick style below

It looks a Georgian style with the windows and apparently Holt suffered a massive fire in the early 1700's and so rebuilt itself.

If you've seen a better doorway than this then let me know.

Also rude to go to Holt and not show a pic of Old Town

(If you're out of town or UK, don't visit Norfolk (or most UK seaside villages/towns) at Easter, as most shops are shut.
