W650 De-bonnefication

The Kawasaki W650 tank badges are now removed. De-bonnefication has begun. The plastic bling has gone!

 

With the help of a hairdryer and a credit card the plastic badges came away but left a lot of glue gunk behind on the tank. So more hairdryer action and about 2 hours later it was all off with perfect paint left underneath, a relief for sure.

Looking much cleaner now, tank looks less busy and getting nearer now on deciding on the paint but first I'm waiting on some parts to sort the rear end out. Once that's done I'll see how it sits.
