iPad & Notepad leather Folio - Customer special order

It was a real pleasure to design and hand stitch this substantial double Folio for a private commission, in a heavyweight vintaged full grain vegetable tanned leather.
The client is a talented London cabinet maker specialising in bespoke one-off interiors and was looking for what we've dubbed his 'mobile workstation'. 
A place that holds everything he would need when visiting clients old and new. 

I love the comparison in the materials we both individually use in our respective crafts... the natural grain in wood and leather, then seeing them both age uniquely.

The interior spec includes -

iPad sleeve, this will fit all iPads, including the new large iPad Pro 12.9
A4 size notepad / calendar
A5 Business card slot
Dedicated pen slot
Additional room in both sleeves for more papers if needed.

The leather used on this piece is a full grain cow hide around 2-3mm thick and shows all the unique scars and natural creases of the individual hide through its life. Each hide is unique and this piece will last a lifetime.
